Layne Groom is the lead developer of the BART Research Platform, bringing together expertise in software engineering and behavioral science to create accessible research tools. With a commitment to open science and reproducible research, Layne has designed this platform to meet the rigorous standards required for contemporary psychological research while maintaining ease of use for researchers across diverse settings.
Dr. Carl Lejuez is the original creator of the Balloon Analogue Risk Task and Executive Vice President and Provost of Stony Brook University. Lejuez's research focuses on the use of basic laboratory research findings for the development of behavioral interventions to address a wide range of psychological conditions including mood disorders, addictions, and personality disorders for marginalized and underserved populations.
